About the tournament
The 56th staging of the Jamaica Open Golf Tournament will take place at the Tryall Club in Montego Bay St James from, October 28 – 31, 2023.
Having started in 1953, the Jamaica Open Championship has maintained the prestige of being the premier golf competition of the year in Jamaica and remain a three-day, 54-hole tournament on the par 72 golf course.
Prizes
USD$20,000 for the Open winner and crystal trophies for the other places.
Over 100 golfers
For the 2023 staging of the Jamaica Open, the expectation is for over 100 golfers to grace the shores of Jamaica for three exciting days of competition. We are expecting participation from US Korn Ferry players, PGA Champions Tour Players and Latin America PGA Tour players, Canadian Tour players, along with our local and regional professional and amateur golfers.

World renown players
The Jamaica Open has over the years attracted a number of players of world renown. In recent times the Open has had a unique mix of participants with players such as Russ Cochran and Olin Browne, both former US Senior Open Champions, playing alongside aspiring young professionals both local and foreign as well as elite level amateurs.
The 2022 field attracted a total of 112 players from 14 nationalities that included players from as far away as Israel and Italy.
