Summary
The 36th staging of the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships (CAJGC) is set to take place from July 1-6, 2024 at the picturesque Caymanas Golf and Country Club in St Catherine Jamaica. Throughout its history the CAJGC has been the foundation for the best senior golfers around the region and is the first major tournament for national junior players to showcase their skill against their counterparts in the region.

The Tournament
The 54-hole Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships (CAJGC) will showcase the best junior golfers from 10 participant countries competing for the Hank James Team Trophy along with other individual prizes. 75-100 Golfers between the ages of 11-18 representing their respective territories will vy for the coveted Caribbean title, along with six age-group honors, including the James Moss-Solomon Trophy for Boys 18 and under.
- The age-group categories are 13 and under boys and girls and 15 and under boys and girls.

The Course
In the foothills of St. Catherine lies the Caymanas Golf & Country Club, a picturesque parkland style course. Designed by Howard Watson of Canadian Golf Landscaping Limited, Caymanas first opened in 1957. Caymanas is rich in vegetation, including imposing cotton and guango trees that stand guard over the fairways. The course features limestone formations, elevated tees and greens, as well as panoramic views of the surrounding parishes.
